I’ve been in construction all my life. I started fixing things at a very young age. I grew up without a dad, so when my bike broke, I either had to toss it in the corner, or learn to fix it. I chose the latter. I figured that it was already broken, so I couldn’t make it any worse than it already was.
So I began to learn how things worked and how to fix them. That line of thinking even went with me when I purchased my first home. In the 6 years that we owned it, I remodeled it from top to bottom, including adding on to it twice. Once I learned I could do things, I started repairing things for others, to support my family. It was also a great way to get some real cool tools. I could pay someone else to do things for me, or buy the tools and do them myself.
Now, I want to share my knowledge with others. Feel free to take a look around at our plans, read through our How-To posts, or check out past projects.
